This Might Be the First Music Video to Use a Hacked Kinect

Awesome.

I do want to make this right now. As my good buddy Kawan said to me a couple weeks back, "Why would you get one Kinect when you can get two?"

EDIT: Also, the last bit, where she cuts off her face to reveal her face — did they do that with a green mask? It's a totally cool idea.

Listen Up — Wicked Games

Slow jams can be the best jams.

I'm going to implement a "Listen Up —" (note the em dash, ladies and fellas! I'm a fan) in the title when there's music involved.
I might expand it to other types of posts
Like, for instance,
* "This is a nice photograph — " for a nice picture
* "DUDE THIS IS SO SICK BRO — " for a crazy fact
* "Spare the hyperbole, Hermione, this ain't magic, it's SCIENCE — " for wonderful scientific knowledge

Listen up to that song I just posted below.

Cosby Teaches Us How to Dance to Dubstep

Ingredient check —
- Bill Cosby
- Dubstep
- High-kickin' over little children

Yup.

related: tutorial in dubstep production

EDIT: definitely "Cosby", not "Cowby" teaches us how to dance. Don't know how a Cowby could teach us anything, that was stupid of me.

Little Dragon is still amazing, don't worry

This is the title track off of their new LP, "Ritual Unions" out in July.
They are amazing live. They had their instruments laid out in exactly the same way at Brighton Music Hall. She did dance a lot more, though.

March Playlists

March is coming to a close. That of course means that it's time to let y'all know that the March monthly playlist is done.
Well, playlists, plural.

Why two? Music overflow. Simple as that. Too many good songs for just one playlist. Believe me, I tried to make it work with just one, and I know that I'm breaking rules here. But, never-broken rules simultaneously interest and bother me, for both personal and intellectual reasons. So I broke that rule. SNAP. CRACKLE. LET'S ROCK.

Regardless, the playlists — the first one is a little more dancy and pretty upbeat. The second one is slightly more down-tempo, for chiller, stay-at-home listening.
